Selecting President is as simple as choosing Barbie doll!
01.31.08 (3:43 am)   [edit]

People criticized Mattel for releasing "Presidential Candidate Barbie" in the year 1992 and in 2000 again. Seems, for a typical American, selecting their president is something like a seven year kid selecting the Barbie doll. It is like a beauty contest! Americans feel that the candidate they vote for should have good looks like Barbie, her boyfriend ken or rivals from Hasbro, GI Joe. Image Consultants who are paid highly get employed by presidential candidates who are serious about election. Costume providers, make-up artists and if necessary the plastic surgeon work to improve one's appeal. All Democratic candidates are from the mold of Mattel, with the same left-eing message and cookie cutter. Mitt Romney, Barbie doll, the winner of Nevada caucus last weekend was a look-alike of Ken. Aging but still strong and handsome John McCain, was the winner from South Carolina. By being so entreating as others, suave, is the only way to be a candidate not 'Mattel Perfect' these days.
